Sleeper train from Milan to Sicily

Travel on the overnight sleeper train from Milan and arrive in Sicily in the early afternoon the following day.

The Intercity Notte overnight sleeper night train, run by the Italian state operator Trenitalia, connects Milan via Bologna, Florence and Messina to several places in Siciliy including Catania, Syracuse, and Palermo.


Save having to stay overnight in a hotel: whether for business or leisure, leave late in the evening and wake up in the morning in the famous island of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean that's home to Europe's most active volcano, Mount Etna.

Timetable: Departs Milan 8.10am, arrives Catania 2.32pm, Siracuse 3.48pm, and Palermo 4.55pm (always check with the operator for the latest timings when you book and before boarding)
