Night train from Paris to Latour-de-Carol
Travel on the overnight sleeper from Paris and arrive in Latour-de-Carol the following morning.
The Intercités de Nuit overnight sleeper service is the French domestic service run by state operator SNCF, that connects Paris to Latour-de-Carol on the Spanish border. and several other cities, including Briançon (for the southern French Alps), Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Toulouse (for the Pyrenees), and Perpignan. All Intercités de Nuit trains depart in Paris from Gare d'Austerlitz (see our handy guide to how to transfer between train stations in Paris.

Timetable: Departs Paris Gare d'Austerlitz 22:13pm, arrives Latour-de-Carol 10:04am
(always check with the operator for the latest timings when you book and before boarding). During the summer holidays, the night train to Latour de Carol runs daily. Outside the summer holidays, the night train runs on Fridays and Saturdays from Paris and on Saturdays and Sundays back to Paris.
Sleeping arrangements:
First Class Couchette: 4-bed compartment
Second Class Couchette: 6-bed compartment (slightly smaller that first class)

Paris to Latour-de-Carol tickets provided by Rail Europe, which also allows you to buy tickets for multiple train operators in multiple European countries - handy if you're travelling beyond Latour-de-Carol by train in either France or Spain. It does charge a small booking fee, but offers several useful facilities, such as a free email alert service to let you know as soon as bookings open for your chosen route so you can snap up the cheapest tickets when they become available.
