Night train from Brussels to Vienna

Travel on the overnight sleeper from Brussels and arrive in Vienna the following morning.

The Nightjet overnight sleeper service, run by the Austria operator OBB, connects Brussels to Vienna picking up passengers along the way in Cologne, Bonn, and Koblenz, and dropping off the following morning in Munich, Salzburb, and Vienna.

Timetable: Departs Brussels Midi 7.06pm, arrives Munich 5.46am, Salzburg 7.30am, and Vienna 10.13am (always check with the operator for the latest timings when you book and before boarding). Trains run daily.

Sleeping arrangements: Seats, couchette cars and sleeping cars

Brussels to Vienna tickets provided by Rail Europe, which also allows you to buy tickets for multiple train operators in multiple European countries - handy if you're travelling throughout Austria and beyond by train. It does charge a small booking fee, but offers several useful facilities, such as a free email alert service to let you know as soon as bookings open for your chosen route so you can snap up the cheapest tickets when they become available.
