Why we've chosen Mandinam:

Four cosy wagons, out of sight of each other in secluded romantic hideaways on a four hundred acre farm on the edge of the black mountains. The wagons are simply and fully equipped, each with its own shower hut, and private hot tub. You can set off from your hut and walk on Llyn y Fan, cycle or just wander, visit nearby castles, Aberglasney or Botanic gardens of wales, visit nearby Llandeilo, or just stay by your hut and take it easy. The hot tub is for your own personal enjoyment in complete privacy under the sun, rain or stars! The views here are breathtaking during the day and the night skies dazzling. These are magical retreats.

The Gypsy Van: Nestled against a wood, away from it all beneath the red kites in the day and starlit skies at night….what could be more romantic? Completely secluded with lovely views across the hills, this newly furnished authentic van has the added bonus of a hot tub. This is a very sweet nest, with double bed, a wooden deck and walkway connecting to a smaller hut which contains a good bathroom and loo. Another wonderful place to find peace and solitude. The outdoor hot tub is fantastic. One wood firing will give you toasty hot water in two hours and will stay hot for long after your toes go wrinkly. All the electricity is provided by solar power and there are plugs for laptops and mobile phones. To continue the green theme, there is another wood burning stove in the van . Wood can be supplied. This is a place for lovers, friends, people who just want some peace and quiet or who like the big outdoors but enjoy warmth and comfort. Who could resist? If you feel like an escape, get in touch.

The Shepherd's Hut: By the edge of a lake under dappled shade, the Shepherd's Hut is a magical, secluded place with wonderful views overlooking a far-off Iron age fort. Walk up the steps to your balcony where you can look at the stars by night or drink your morning coffee. Go through the door and enter your cosy world with a lofty double bed at the back approached by steps. There is a table, chairs, a wood burning stove, a belfast sink in a lovely wooden unit made by a local joiner, and a small cooker with a grill. Sheets and towels are all provided. Near the Lake is a small barbeque where you can cook your supper while you watch the ducks, coots and Canada geese. There are two bikes for you to use. Also outside there is the compost loo with a view and the shower shed with water heated by wood and solar panel. It's all for you. The outdoor life with comfort.

This Bluebell Wagon is at the edge of a bluebell wood which, during May, will be covered in (shocker!) bluebells. It is complete with all the comforts of the other huts, with double bed, shower room, hot tub, solar power and woodburning stove in another peaceful and romantic location of it’s own. This is a sweet wagon and is at last, ready for you to enjoy.

The Cabin: Another wagon in the same style as the other Huts, this time on the edge of a glorious oak wood. It has a double bed, deck, hot tub, a brand new shower hut and solar powered electricity and of course a wood burning stove to keep you warm inside the Cabin. It really is a beauty and we are looking forward to people having a very special time there.

"My instant reaction was “the kids would love this hut”, but actually it is the most divine place to cosy up with a loved one, watch the stars, and forget the routine of parenting and just rest"
