Why we've chosen Craibstone Estate

The train journey from London Kings Cross to Dyce train station takes anywhere between seven and eight hours with a change at Edinburgh Waverley, offering plenty of time to sit back, relax and watch English and Scottish countryside go rolling by. Once you reach Dyce, it is only a short taxi ride from the station to the accommodation. Just 5 mintues from Dyce train station and 5 miles north of Aberdeen city centre, boasting a public bus service from the end of the road to Aberdeen city centre every 15-20 minutes, Craibstone Estate is located on the coast of the North East of Scotland with beaches, outdoor sports and walking trails.

Set in 800 acres of glorious woodlands, the site offers a quiet and relaxing base where you can unwind by exploring the secluded grounds and enjoying the woodland walks and wildlife watching. Craibstone Estate allows easy access to the 'Granite City' of Aberdeen with its cultural, sporting and leisure amenities as well as Aberdeen beach with its amusement park for family entertainment. Nearby attractions include Royal Deeside, Castle and Coastal trails and Falconry Centre to name but a few and it's central location make it ideal for exploring Grampian's Distilleries. Relax in the lounge bar or build up a sweat in the multi-gym; sauna & steam room or perhaps take a stroll through the walled garden (ideal for barbecues); Arboretum and woodland walks.
