Why we've chosen Cader Idris Farmhouse

This is a farmhouse with a very enviable location; in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, this stunning property commands views of the Cader Idris mountain range, and yet is only ten minutes away from golden sandy beaches. Inside, there is plenty of living space with two living rooms and a hideaway space, as well as four bedrooms. The diversity of the surrounding areas makes this cottage a truly year-round destination. You will have direct access to the Snowdonia National Park walk to the Cregennan Lakes and Arthog, joining up with the Mawddach Trail on the estuary between Dolgellau and Barmouth. Nearby there are also Sites of Special Scientific Interest, RSPB reserves, the geological site of Pared Y Cernhir, as well as prehistoric and medieval sites to explore.
