Why we've chosen The Blacksmith's House:

We are a small, hospitable and comfortable Bed & Breakfast with a difference. We offer a mix of modern features such as wireless internet access, flatscreen TV’s and DVDs coupled with the more traditional comforts of old pine, brass beds and fresh clean linen - we want this to be your ‘Home from Home’.

We go out of our way to make you feel welcome! All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities with homemade biscuits and real milk. The breakfast table is laden daily with cold meats, smoked salmon, free range eggs from our hens, cheese, yogurts, fruits, cereals as well as freshly baked breakfast scones and drop scones from our very own Aga! If you prefer you can indulge in a cooked breakfast made with local New Forest produce.

We also leave our home made cakes, scones and biscuits in the dining room for you to help yourselves to afternoon tea! Then there’s the location... in the heart of the beautiful New Forest, one of Englands newest National Parks. We’re based five minutes walk from Brockenhurst Rail Station.

Review by Lucy Symons "Seriously, a perfect spot if you have no car - you can arrive by railway and get around on the bus effortlessly. The New Forest is just begging for you to hire a bike or a Twizy and explore this beautiful area. A few people don't like letting themselves in, but I absolutely loved the feeling of trust and ability to explore Tracy’s place on my own. "
