Two very different activities using our own Boghill clay – absolutely no experience necessary and the muddier the better! Hopefully you can fit in a swim prior to returning to Boghill for a quick whistle practice before a delicious Boghill dinner. A selection of evening activities to suit all ages with an escape option to the pub.

Day 3 Treasure on the land
Wake up again to yoga stretches to suit everyone. More tunes after breakfast and then its treasure time. Families can compete in the Boghill Treasure Hunt around the grounds and nearby bogland – wellies supplied! Its then time to collect your picnic and set off exploring again. We recommend visiting The Burren Centre and exploring Kilfenora or venturing a little further afield to the symbol of the Burren, Poulnabrone and CaherConnell Stone Fort. Alternatively head to the Cliffs of Moher for an experience! Tonight will be a kids choice dinner at Boghill with an option to help out in the kitchen. Then its story time or pub time – maybe a chance for you adults to try out your new found whistling skills!

Day 4 The Burren Rocks!
Stretch your muscles ready for a trek today with pre breakfast yoga. Another whistle lesson before snatching a chance to complete your clay work prior to setting off to the heart of the Burren with a tasty picnic. Here you will be joined by Tony our trusty walking guide for an exciting introduction to the delights of the Burren National Park – it’s like a magical fairyland. After an Internationally influenced meal at Boghill there will be an assortment of activities to try out before bedtime or pub time.

Day 5 Wetting your Whistles
Yoga stretches to prepare you for the day before getting another tune or two under your belt and then indulging in a bit of pond dipping – our newts and water beetles are prolific. Armed with a picnic package the afternoon is yours to explore as you will. Wander along the local back lanes, hire a bike or venture farther afield – there is plenty to do. Back at Boghill there will be an Irish set dance lesson for all followed by dinner and then a Ceili option for the adults who still have energy!

Day 6 Concert and Departure
One remaining chance to show how flexible you are in the yoga hall. After breakfast its time for a quick pre concert practice and then you are on stage! Don’t worry – it will only be the Boghill family and friends in the audience. Departure after saying goodbye to your audience, collecting your tunes and finding out how to continue your musical learning.

The Boghill Centre is a sustainable complex with a strong Environmental policy set in 50 acres of land on the edge of the Burren in Co Clare. The land includes organic vegetable and fruit gardens, a nature trail, a stone circle, a wildlife pond, a reed labyrinth, a chicken coop and pig pen, an orchard, and several recently planted native woodland areas. Our mantra is reduce, reuse, recycle and our ethos is based on creating an environmentally sustainable business having a minimal impact on the earth. The Boghill kitchen is renowned for its delicious nurturing vegetarian food sourced primarily from the adjoining organic garden and orchard. Our gourmet menu will nourish your soul as well as your body and we are happy to cater for special diets.

At Boghill we offer a break with a difference – a refreshing change from a Hotel based visit. We replace the impersonal grandeur with a friendly home-from-home, the mass catering with the nutritious, home cooked organic food and we offer one-to-one attention and a community spirit. Stay in one of our single or twin ensuite rooms or share a family room in our hostel. You will have full access to the Boghill estate and can enjoy our Interaction with Nature Tour.
