Restaurants, Mountain Chalets and Cheese Cellars

Le Saint Laurent
This restaurant’s evening meals are locally famous - a mixture of traditional and refined cuisine served in the typically Savoyard ‘Saint Laurent’ restaurant. Patrick the owner is a talented chef, enthusiastic about local produce and ever faithful to the traditional values of his native village. Everyday he collects fresh eggs from ‘La Ferme de Rose’, his mountain farm, named after his wife who runs the hotel with him. His own herd of Salers cattle provide excellent cuts of beef that are served at his restaurant, providing an excellent meal whether as a ‘pot-au-feu’ a steak or a joint.
La Fruitière des Perrières
A very cosy ‘farm-cum-auberge’ that serves Savoyard specialities (made from home-made cheese) in a former cheese-maturing cellar. Chic whilst retrospective, guests spend an unusual but very pleasant evening here, surrounded by antique artefacts that pay homage to local heritage and gastronomy.

Le Vaffieu, Morzine
A popular place for a mountain lunch, at the top of the Belvedere lift in Morzine. Hikers can walk there from the resort. Warming, home cooked food. Best to book ahead.
L'Outa
L'Outa has a friendly, warm atmosphere. A great place for couples and families, this uncomplicated restaurant is owned by a couple who serve regional food and specialise in sea food. Enjoy freshly caught fish, oysters and shellfish in this welcoming, wholesome atmosphere.
