£645
Mallorca is the capital of Palma, the largest of the Balearic Islands famous for both its constant balmy climate and for the beauty of the landscape, together with an abundance of Sun, Sand and Sea. While many of Mallorca's tourists might rush to the golden sands of the numerous beaches, there's also a fascinating and relatively hidden history and culture on the island that you'll get to explore during this 8-day self guided walking holiday. You'll get to explore villages such as Valldermossa as you cross coastal paths, visit a handful of wonderful sandy beaches like Deia and Cala Tuent, and head up into the mountain landscape of the Sierra de Tramuntana.
Be aware that the trip is graded as Moderate to Strenuous, with daily walks between 3 and 7 hours and an average ascent/descent of around 500m (as much as 560m if you opt for the more challenging routes). Because of this, you'll need to make sure that you have a good level of fitness before signing up for this challenge to ensure you get everything you can from it. All of your accommodation will be hand picked to make sure you have as authentic a holiday as possible, with each offering a warm welcome, traditional surroundings and some fantastic local food.
