Highlights included getting licked to death and then followed by the world's friendliest calves near Grange Dernier; encountering an amazing variety of stiles; the lovely views from Mont d'Or and Le Chasseron; the imposing Château de Joux (well worth the side trip), and Madame Salomon's impossibly rich, delicious "Morbiflette" at Les Petits Fourgs.
