Holidays in Southwest Wales, Wales

Pembrokeshire has been a favourite family holiday destination for many years. Its huge sandy beaches, plethora of campsites and pretty coastal villages make it the perfect place to kick back and relax over the summer holidays. Wildlife is also a huge reason for visiting South West Wales. Islands off the Pembrokeshire coast are home to colonies of sea animals and birds, including seals, dolphins, porpoises, puffins and guillemots, just to name a few. Some excellent wildlife centres and responsible tours in the area ensure you reach some of the best wildlife spots without disturbing the natural environment.

Surfing is another popular activity in Pembrokeshire, with beaches suitable for both the advanced and those more inclined to body-board. The rugged coastline is home to some exciting adventure trips and tours; coasteering is popular here as is caving, kayaking and abseiling. For the less adventurous the coast path is long and unspoilt and many hours can be happily spent wandering along different sections of it.
