Greentraveller's Top Tips: All the destinations in this exciting itinerary have a few green options for visitors. In Venice, a gondola trip is not only the most popular, but also a green way, to explore the city's canals. If you’ve time after discovering Florence’s art and history, we highly recommend a day trip to Le Baccanti to sample wonderfully organic Tuscan wines. In Rome, the best way to explore the city is on foot; don’t miss all of the historical monuments such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Vatican City. Lastly, while in Turin, do sample some of the locally produced cheeses as after all located nearby in Bra is the headquarters of the Slow Food movement.
