| Leg 3: | Rome to Catania and Syracuse (Siracusa) The train to Siracusa departs Roma Termini at 1128, arriving in Sicily in the evening (Messina at 1928, Catania at 2116, and Siracusa at 2230). The train is loaded onto the ferry for the 30 minute crossing to Sicily, and you can stay in the carriage or enjoy the view from the deck. There are also two overnight trains, leaving Rome at 2030 and 2120. |
