Option 1: via Paris

Sample itinerary: The 1025 Eurostar from St Pancras arrives in Paris at 1347, with enough time to get to Gare de Montparnasse for the 1440 service that will get you to Bordeaux in good time for your evening meal.

Leg 1: London St Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord in the heart of Paris. Don't forget check-in time for Eurostar is at least 30 mins before departure.

Transfer

Cross the centre of Paris by metro from Gare du Nord to Gare Montparnasse. From the Eurostar platform, turn left, walk down the stairs and follow the signs for Metro line M4 to Montparnasse Bienvenue (which is signposted 'direction Porte d'Orléans'). It's 14 stops from Gare de Nord to Montparnasse and takes 25-35 minutes, but we recommend you leave at least 50 minutes for the entire transfer time.

Leg 2: Paris Montparnasse to Bordeaux St Jean

First train departs Paris Gare de Montparnasse at 0610 during the week and 0650 on weekends. The last train departs at 1950 Saturday, 2020 Monday-Thursday, 2110 Sunday and 2135 Friday.
