Snowshoe Journey across the Chablais, France
A snowshoe adventure over the mountains from the French village of Megevette to Lake Geneva with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Your luggage is carried for you, as you trek from village to village over high plateau and through remote villages.

Summary of this snowshoe traverse across the Chablais
The route starts in France, in the village of Megevette in the valley of the Arve in the west and finishes in Lake Geneva in the east, enjoying the great views from the different highpoints. The aim is to travel 10 kilometres per day more or less. Each day the luggage will be delivered to the accomodation, to avoid heavy loads.
Minimum numbers: The trip requires a minimum of 4 clients to run and we will take a maximum of 8 clients.
Day 1: We meet you at your hotel's bar to discuss the itinerary and answer the questions you may have.
Day 2: Today we'll start our journey from Megevette. The itinerary today includes Col de la Bray, the valley of Diomaz, Pointe des Jottis, the Alpage of La Bray and the valley of La Chevreri, where we'll take a bus to our hotel in Bellevaux.
Day 3: After reaching our finishing point at Beauveau, we begin our route to the Tre la Saix, the Col de la Balme and finally the Col de Seytrouset. We'll spend the night in Biot.
Day 4: We start today heading to the Alpage of Thex, to continue to Pointe de Cercle, the Montagne de Drouzin, the Abondance Valley until we reach the Alpages de Druges. Tonight we'll stay in Abondance.
Day 5: Today's route includes the famous 15th century cloister, the hamlet of Mont, the ridge of Mont Chauffe at Col de la Plagne, the valley of Ubine and Vacheresse, where we'll spend the night.
Day 6: Even if there are different ways to get to Mont Baron from Vacheresse, we'll go through the Replain valley, the most unspoilt one. We'll spend the night in Bernex.
Day 7: Today's itinerary includes Mont Benand, the Gavot plateau and Lac Leman, we continue then to Thollon and finally we arrive to the spa town of Evian Les Bains, where we will spend the night before heading to Geneva next morning.
Day 8: You can either go to Geneva by train or ferry to take the train back to the UK.
