This fantastic guided Haute Route ski tour lasts seven days, allowing for a warm up and assessment day with the experienced guide before setting off, and a reasonable amount of time during the tour should bad weather intervene - also making for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The itinerary will follow the standard route - Chamonix through to Zermatt via Verbier. You'll be bedding down in comfortable refuges for all five nights of the trip, and you'll carry only food and water needed for each trek day. That way, you'll be perfectly prepared to ski amongst the most impressive mountain scenery on the planet.

In order to undertake the trip, make sure you have a good enough level of fitness to sustain seven tough trekking days. Previous ski touring and back country skiing experience is required, as is knowledge of the gear and techniques used, as well as the ability to handle all sorts of off-piste snow conditions.
