Details of the Rhine Valley and Black Forest Cities by Train

Days 1-3 - Cologne Travel on Eurostar to Brussels and transfer on to Cologne, where you'll check-in at the Azimut Cologne City Center, a newly opened contemporary hotel in the heart of Cologne, 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral, with 195 stylishly designed rooms, as well as a wellness and fitness centre with a sauna and solarium.

Days 3-5 - Baden-Baden Travel by train through the stunning Rhine Valley countryside to Baden-Baden, passing rolling vineyards, hill top towns and castles, mountain paeaks and thickly forested landscapest. In Baden-Baden, you'll be staying at the Merkur Baden-Baden, a traditional family hotel, with 36 bedrooms and suites that have been completely renovated in a contemporary style. Located on a quiet street in the centre of Baden-Baden on Merkurstrasse, close to the Kongresshaus and Kurhaus Casino, the hotel offers traditional Black Forest cuisine as well as a relaxed bar area.

Days 5-7 - Freiburg Take the train on to Freiburg, at the heart of the Black Forest, and is a haven for wildlife and outdoor activities, a combination of dense woodland, hill country, crystal streams and open meadows. On arrival in Freiburg check-in for 2 nights at the InterCityHotel Freiburg, a modern, centrally located hotel close to the train station.

Day 7 - Freiburg to London After breakfast take the train from Freiburg to Paris via Basel, and connect to the Eurostar to London. Holidays can be tailor-made for you to include different hotels, lengths of stay, departure dates and additional cities.
