We click into our paddles and tentatively take our first steps. Jonathan encourages us to pick up speed when we launch ourselves downhill, showing us how to dig in our heels so we don’t slip. It’s exhilarating, taking great leaps and wondering if you’re going to be able to stop at the bottom. When the snow peters out, we simply remove the snowshoes and carry on in our walking shoes - you can’t do that when you’re skiing. Then it’s home with glowing cheeks for a fabulous three-course dinner laid on by Myriam."

It's a great opportunity to discover the amazing and gorgeous valleys and ridges around the town of Luchon and the Pyrenees. Enjoy the in scenery offered by those mountains and take advantage of winter to enjoy an unforgettable adventure.
The grade goes from moderate to strenuous and even if no previous experience is needed, we do request that you have a good level of fitness. Our prepared leaders will carefully check the situation to choose the safest way to continue with the itinerary even if that means to cancel or to change the planned route in order to avoid dangerous situations. This holiday is perfect for those who want some adventure and who like to take some risk. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy Pyrenees in a different way!
Detailed Itinerary:
- Day 1: The trip begins in La Feniére, near Luchon. It's just a short taxi ride from Luchon train station and costs about 15-20 Euros.
- Day 2 - 4: You'll enjoy three snowshoe walks.
- Day 5: Free day to relax or to join one of the different optional activities offered.
- Day 6 - 7: Different walk options will be offered, including the Vallée d'Oueil, the Pic du Gar, the Bacanère and the Plateau de Campsaure.
- Day 8: Finish point in La Feniére.
