Green Holidays in Norway
For lovers of nature, scenery and the great outdoors, Norway is awe-inspiring.
The land of deep, aquamarine fjords gashed into great snow-topped mountains, the Northern Lights playing out over Lapland pine forests, beautiful wooden towns and villages sheltering under sea cliffs and in wild-flower filled valleys...
A myriad splendours await the visitor: from picturesque Bergen and dynamic Oslo to winter sports and sailing, kayaking and more along the jagged Atlantic and Arctic coasts....
From the UK, there are a number of overland routes to choose from, and for more inspiration, read about how Paul Miles travelled from the UK to Norway without flying on our blog.
Listed below are some of the best holidays on offer in Norway, all of which you can reach by train and ferry.
