A solar power passenger boat has been launched in Berlin. The catamaran can take up to 60 passengers and will sail on Berlin's waterways providing tours of the city and cruise trips. The "SOLON" was launched by Berlin's mayor Klaus Wowereit and can be booked via Solar Water World. Speaking at the launch, Thomas Krupke, CEO of SOLON SE, said: "The future belongs to solar mobility, whether on roads, rails or water".
