"Can Marti, Ibiza""Lake District Yurts, England"

"Higher Lank Farm, Cornwall"

"Under the Thatch cottages, West Wales"

"Hoopoe Yurt Hotel, Andalucia"

"Orion B&B, France"

"Le Poujastou, Pyrenees"

"Loch Ossian Hostel, Scottish Highlands": The most eco-friendly youth hostel I have stayed in. You can only reach it by train - it's a mile walk from Corrour station on the Glasgow-Fort William line

"Can Marti, Ibiza": The alternative side to Ibiza. A quiet organic farm in the north of the island near San Juan

"Lake District Yurts, England": Authentic Mongolian yurts in the heart of the Lake District

"Higher Lank Farm, Cornwall": Here's one for young families - in fact you can only go there if you have at least one child under 5

"Under the Thatch cottages, West Wales": Beautifully restored thatched cottages plus other quirky properties, such as a Romany Caravan and converted train carriage

"Hoopoe Yurt Hotel, Andalucia": Stylish yurt camp overlooking the Grazalema mountain range to the south of Ronda

"Orion B&B, France": Four beautiful tree-houses and a natural swimming pool near Nice in the South of France

"Le Poujastou, Pyrenees": A classic chambres d’hôtes in the heart of the French Pyrenees

"Canvas Chic, France": A large yurt camp overlooking the spectacular Ardeche gorge

"Whitepod, Switzerland": This one's for winter: eco pods that offer an inspired alternative to ski resorts

Holidaying in Ireland

I finally decided to tour my own country for a change. I picked all my accomadation from www.irishselfcateringhomes.com. It was simple to book my accomodation on line there. I went to Mayo, sligo and donegal. I drove on the coast as much as possible. What an experience. We really have a place of beauty here. I wish more people could and would come and see our beautiful countryside and towns.
