The AA's Views on Green Fuels are stunted to say the least.
After hearing the news on Radio One today, I was utterly dismayed with what the AA's spokes person had to say about green fuels. To state that there is a lack of proof stating whether or not biofuels are better than fossil fuels is simply wrong.
I admit that biofuels sourced in the wrong way may not benefit the environment, but companies sourcing the fuel sustainably from local sources are definitely on the right side of green.
Below is an email I wrote to the press office of the AA.
AA
I was extremely dismayed to hear on the news today that the well respected AA disputed the fact that BioFuels are better for the environment when there is a massive, no - colossal amount of literature world wide to support the fact that not only do biofuels burn cleaner, but the cyclical nature of the production of these fuels is almost carbon neutral (as long as the fuel a sourced properly).
The AA contribution to the news today was almost paramount to slander and is massively harming to the few businesses that are trying their utmost to push green energies, without which the technologies will not catch up.
The AA should be more responsible with what they say to the media. In a perfect world I would like you to retract your statement and reform it with actual information and facts to back up your allegations.
I would appreciate a reply to explain your actions and why you felt the need to publically harm the small businesses that are trying to make a difference.
