Details of Lake Garda via the Alps by train

Days 1-2 Travel by Eurostar to Paris and connect onwards to Zurich, where you'll stay at the Hotel du Théâtre in Zurich - a historic former theatre with 50 contemporary and individually designed bedrooms, a cinema, an audio book library and a relaxing lounge, located in the city centre, close to the station.

Day 2 - Travel through the Alps to Desenzano Take the train through the Alpine scenery of the Swiss mountains to Desenzano, with beautiful views of verdant meadows, forests, soaring peaks and waterfalls.

Days 2-5 - Desenzano On arrival in Desenzano you'll check-in at the Villa Rosa Hotel. Built in a neo-classical style it features a swimming pool, fitness centre and a bar, and is right on the shore of Lake Garda, near to the historic town of Desenzano.

Day 5 - Desenzano to Turin Travel via Milan to Turin, where you'll be staying at the centrally located Mercure Torino Crystal Palace.

Day 6 - Turin to London Travel via Paris to London, with the last leg by Eurostar. Holidays can be tailor-made for you to include different hotels, lengths of stay, departure dates and additional cities.
