There is little doubt that the quaint villages, dramatic vistas and rugged coastal scenery combine to make the Cinque Terre one of the most beautiful section of the Ligurian Coast, and a true haven for walkers! During this week of self-guided day walks you’ll get to explore all five villages of the Cinque Terre, using well worn footpaths to get from one village to the next, crossing through forests and vineyards and all the while looking out to sea.
As you make your way through the terraces, you’ll uncover a traditional way of life that has remained unchanged for hundreds of years. Trek through pine forest and along rugged pathways until you reach the wonderful village of Portovenere, where you'll get to explore the harbour and 16th century castle. You'll also head to the island of Palmaria in the 'Bay of Poets' Time is spent discovering the treasures of Portovenere as well as the beautiful island of Palmaria, in the middle of the ‘Bay of Poets’.
