Walking the Inn Way to the Yorkshire Dales, England

The picturesque town of Grassington, where this 6-day holiday starts and finishes, is a top destination for anyone looking to explore the English countryside, offering up anything from a full day of adventurous hiking to a simple stroll along the banks of the beautiful River Wharfe. From Grassington, you'll head out into the Wharfedale area, complete with secluded meadows and tranquil riverside paths, before heading out across the rugged moorlands and exploring a selection of iron-age and Anglian settlements. You'll also get to explore villages, valleys and even waterfalls in the likes of Swaledale and Wensleydale before getting back to Grassington for a well-deserved rest.

This really is an ideal walk for beginners, with most of the walking taking place along even footpaths.
