Salt and Sill Hotel
Sweden's first floating hotel. Bjertorp Manor
This magnificent 20th Century manor house can be found one and a half hours north of Gothenburg. The house itself is surrounded by landscaped gardens, and has been renovated to offer only the highest standard of accommodation. There are 31 guest bedrooms, each of which has has been individually decorated to combine character with ultramodern amenities. The public areas are lavishly decorated with oak wood panels, stairs and balustrades, while the elegant dining area is an ideal place to sit and enjoy meals made using the freshest produce and game. As a testament to Bjertorp's green credentials, it has been awarded the Svenan Nordic Ecolabel.
Villa Sjötorp
A beautiful 20th century summer house that offers fantastic uninterrupted views out across the tranquil waters of Ljungskile bay. There are a total of 14 rooms, each one elegantly decorated in order to emphasise the beauty of the building. Guests are free to wander the grounds of the large, landscaped garden or venture down the steps that lead to a peaceful shingle beach. You can also take sailing trips, fish, and wander walking trails in the surrounding woodland area. Villa Sjötorp's restaurant has won numerous awards of over the years, cooking up dishes using around 70% organic, locally-sourced ingredients. In warmer weather, the terrace adjoining the main dining room is a fantastic place to sit, eat, and contemplate the island of Orust.
Hotel Albert
Perched atop rolling hillsides overlooking the town of Trollhättan, Hotel Albert benefits from some of the most picturesque landscapes that Sweden has to offer.
