A choice of two cabins in lakeside location in Varmland in the west of Sweden, near the Norwegian border. Each cabin has its own boat with environmentally-friendly 4-stroke motor for fishing or exploring the network of lakes. Cabins sleep 4-6 pers.

Located in Värmland in the west of Sweden within easy travelling distance of Stockholm, Gothenburg or Oslo, Lakeside Cabin Retreat offers the ideal Swedish cabin holiday for couples seeking a romantic getaway, families looking to enjoy an active outdoor break or groups of friends wishing to spend some time together in beautiful natural surroundings. It is not necessary to have a car during your stay and transfer can be arranged from the train station at Arvika. If you do have a car, there are small villages and restaurants to explore in the local area.

There are two cabins at the location, Moon and Nissebo, each sleeping up to six persons. Nissebo also has a small summer house with additional sleeping accommodation for two persons.

Nissebo has 3 x 2-person rooms: one double, one twin, one with bunk bed accommodation. Total area around 85 square metres. The cabin has wood-burning stove, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and WC.

Moon has 1 x 2-person room, 2 x bunk beds in living room recess and additional accommodation for 2 persons in cabin room annexe. Total area around 50 square metres. There is an open fire and also outside fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and WC.

There are sauna and laundry facilities in a small cabin just a few metres away for shared use by occupants of both cabins.

The cabins are set in a very attractive forest location just 10-15m from the water's edge. With your cabin comes a boat with environmentally-friendly 4-stroke motor. This can be used to explore the lakes in the area or for fishing. The cabins are located within a fishing reserve. The area is rich in wildlife, with good chances to see moose and beaver and perhaps tracks of lynx and wolf in the forest. The area around the cabins, known as "Finnskogen", offers superb hiking with trails starting right from the door. Your host's house is just 3km away and he will be on hand to assist you during your stay. Mountain bike and canoe hire can also be arranged with your host on site.
