An extensive network of cable cars, mountain railways and ski lifts connects you to slopes in varying lengths from 6 to 12 kilometres. The village itself is a cosy picture postcard cluster of traditional Swiss chalets framed by the stunning backdrop of the Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger mountains. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars as well as a train station in the centre of town.

You could also extend your holiday by stopping off in Paris or Strasbourg or even taking an alternative route and spending a few nights in Amsterdam or Cologne. A great sleeper service connects both these cities to Basel so you can enjoy a short city break then travel overnight and be on the slopes by mid morning the next day!
