Interesting fact: One of Secret Garden Party's many special features is its annual theme: this year it's 'Fact or Fiction', drawing inspiration from Blake, Dalí and Da Vinci, and promising a mind-bending experience exploring the boundaries of reality whilst having lots of fun.
HOW GREEN IS SECRET GARDEN PARTY?
- Not only does Secret Garden Party encourage recycling with bins all over the site, it actively celebrates it with art installations made from reclaimed and recycled materials
- In the same spirit, renewable energy is celebrated at Secret Garden Party with award-winning Kinetic Installations, as well as speech and exhibitions from Toddington Harper
- The energy for two of the festival's stages is generated by solar power
- The festival's organisers have transformed over 200 acres of formerly fertilized farmland into grassland, and have a tree-planting programme
