When: July 22 - 25, 2010

Where: Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire, UK

2010 Headliners: Gorillaz (Sound System), Mercury Rev and Marina & The Diamonds; alongside the Golden Filter, Crystal Fighters and The Boy Who Trapped The Sun

Interesting fact: One of Secret Garden Party's many special features is its annual theme: this year it's 'Fact or Fiction', drawing inspiration from Blake, Dalí and Da Vinci, and promising a mind-bending experience exploring the boundaries of reality whilst having lots of fun.

HOW GREEN IS SECRET GARDEN PARTY?

  • Not only does Secret Garden Party encourage recycling with bins all over the site, it actively celebrates it with art installations made from reclaimed and recycled materials
  • In the same spirit, renewable energy is celebrated at Secret Garden Party with award-winning Kinetic Installations, as well as speech and exhibitions from Toddington Harper
  • The energy for two of the festival's stages is generated by solar power
  • The festival's organisers have transformed over 200 acres of formerly fertilized farmland into grassland, and have a tree-planting programme
