Welcome to greentraveller's city guides in the UK and Europe. Each guide includes all the eco accommodation - from B&Bs and hotels to self-catering apartments (you might even find the occasional campsite outside the city!) - as well as green places to eat, including organic cafés, restaurants, and farmers' markets selling great local produce.

You will also find an inspiring selection of green things to see and do whilst you're in the city, from walking or cycling tours and new innovative ways to see a city, to boat trips and other outdoor activities which might take you into the surrounding countryside.

We've also listed the parks and green spaces to help you find that perfect spot for a picnic or a relaxing afternoon in the sun. And to ensure you have a thoroughly green city break, all of these destinations are easily reachable by train or ferry...
