Offering a shared opportunity to adults and younger family members this course allows participants to discover more about natural history through a variety of experiences. From the wilder areas of Dartmoor to the cliffs, estuaries and rockpools of the English coast, with all the woods, rivers, fields and ponds in between, the natural history learnt about will be mixed up with art, stories, poems, quizzes and games. Activities include: Pond Dipping, Minibeast Hunts, Rock Pooling, Wildflower Wanders, Wildlife Art.

Slapton Ley Field Centre overlooks the National Nature Reserve and beautiful coastline and is a short drive from Dartmoor National Park. Comfortable accommodation mostly in a mix of twin and family rooms. Most bedrooms have wash hand basins, with toilet and shower facilities close by.
