A week's holiday in search of birds, plants, mammals and butterflies in the foothills of the Alps.
Heading south from Lyon in south-eastern France, you're greeted by an amazing collection of jagged limestone. Framed perfectly by the peaks of snow-capped Alps in the distance, and the lush Isere Valley in the foreground, the Vercors Regional Nature Park boasts uniquely outstanding natural beauty. The area begs for exploration, which is exactly what will happen during the varied 8-day wildlife holiday, making use of the region's numerous walking trails as we seek out birds, plants, mammals and butterflies which inhabit the limestone gorges, lofty summits, breathtaking forests and flower-filled meadows of the Vercors.
