Welcome to Portsmouth

Between May and September there is a shuttle bus between the continental ferry port and Portsmouth & Southsea railway station. (There is also a shuttle bus from the station called Portsmouth The Hard Interchange, where some trains stop), or you can take a taxi for around £5. Portsmouth & Southsea is well connected to the UK rail network, including regular services to London Waterloo.

Portsmouth is a vibrant city with a rich maritime history that can be explored in its Historic Dockyard. Neighbouring Southsea is a pretty, genteel seaside town with much to offer the visitor: check out the official Southsea tourist website.
