DFDS Seaways run a dedicated coach service between Amsterdam Centraal railway station and the ferry terminal in IJmuiden, to coincide with ferry arrivals, costing £6 each way, or a taxi will take around half an hour. Amsterdam's Centraal station is well connected to the Netherlands' national rail network, as well as having various international train services and a hub for city transport.

Not for nothing is Amsterdam one of the world's most visited cities: miles and miles of canals, unique architecture and incredible museums combine with a bohemian atmosphere to produce a truly individual, special place.
