How to travel to the port:

During the day there is a regular bus service to the Port from Dover Priory Station, which is served by trains from the rest of the UK (London Charing Cross- Dover Priory takes around 1hour 45minutes), or you can take a taxi (5 mins) or walk (15-20 mins).

Dover Port Facilities: Various shops and cafés, bureau de change, lost property, disabled access.

Regular buses (€2) run during the day from Calais Port to Calais-Ville train station, which is around a mile away (15 minutes walk) across the town centre on Rue Paul Bert. Trains from Calais run regularly on to many destinations across France.

The Calais area is often overlooked as tourists head for destinations further south, but it is rich in history and offers beautiful beaches - see what there is to discover on the official Calais tourist board website.
