Feather Down Farms

A word from Feather Down Farms:

Feather Down Farm Days was the creation of Dutch man, Luite Moraal. It came over to Britain in 2006 and has grown from one farm in Hampshire to 27 (and counting) the length and breadth of Britain.

The thinking behind the product was the desire to take families back to the early decades of the 20th century when life was alot slower and millions still lived off the land. Deliberately equipped without electricity, our 6 person tents are redolent of another era pre-dating smart phones and games consoles. We find our guests disconnect from the stresses of modern living and reconnect with each other around the wood-burning stove and the rickety dining table. They are also encouraged to experience farm life first hand and discover for themselves exactly where the food comes from that gets to their supermarket's shelves."
