Cycling holiday in the west of Ireland
Choose your own adventure and explore the scenic countryside of Ireland on wheels, horseback, or on foot!
From €55 per day
The countryside of Ireland's west begs to be explored, with majestic oaks standing beside moss covered stone walls, wide forest tracks, winding country lanes dotted with thatch roofed cottages and cows and sheep raising their curious heads as you pass by. Slow down and spend a few days to a few weeks exploring. In the evenings, relax at a cosy cottage or B&B, check out the entertainment at a local pub, and dine on home made organic fair from our own garden.
Cycling is a great way to see the area around the centre and offers many options. Cycle back and forth to your accommodation or try a gruelling 100 km route around Lough Derg. We have something for all skill levels and interests, including mountain biking tracks in the forest. For lazy cycles in the local area, borrow a farm bike or hire a practical cruiser, or bring your own bicycle for a serious ride. Make cycling the focus of your holiday, or combine a few days on a bike with horse riding, walking, fishing or sightseeing.
