Sailing on a traditional yacht, you'll explore the islands and fjord-like lochs which make the fissured coastline of the west of Scotland so famous.
From the remote peninsula of Knoydart, often referred to as Scotland’s last wilderness, to the Isles of Skye and Rum with their dramatic rocky ridges, we will hike to otherwise hidden vantage points and enjoy superb walks accessed from beautiful white sandy beaches.
In coastal waters renowned for its diversity of wildlife, we have every chance of seeing whales, dolphins and a plethora of birdlife. Set against the backdrop of the islands’ fascinating history and culture, this maritime adventure makes for a truly unique and memorable holiday.
These memorable journeys are based aboard our yacht, Eda Frandsen. Eda is a classic and beautifully converted 70-year old Gaff Cutter. Lovingly restored by the skipper himself, she is extremely graceful and her rails and spars gleam with varnish. The rig is entirely traditional showing incredible workmanship. Down below, she is comfortable and well equipped, with a spacious saloon where we enjoy meals of the highest quality.
This trip offers a unique chance to explore these beautiful Scottish islands in style, guided by our skipper, first-mate and a walking guide. The set-up of the boat is equally suited to experienced and novice sailors.
