The name Parknasilla comes from the Irish, Pairc na Saileac, meaning the ‘Field of the Willow Trees’. The resort has a rich heritage dating back to 1692, attracting such literary luminaries as George Bernard Shaw to its beautiful location. Because of the effects of the Gulf Stream and its sheltered position, the resort boasts a genial climate where subtropical plants and vegetation flourish.
Located on the famous Ring of Kerry, Parknasilla Resort encompasses a historic hotel, indulgent spa, spacious Villas and 12 hole golf course, all nestling next to the Kerry mountains and caressed by the lapping waters of the Atlantic ocean Located in the grounds of the world-famous Parknasilla Resort are 38 three-bedroom self catering villas. Perfectly situated, nestled in the woodland beside the Hotel and flanked by the Kerry Mountains the three bedroom villas are the ideal location for the perfect holiday on the Ring of Kerry.
The Villas are set in their own private cluster and woodland walks meander through and around them. They are set just a 10 minute stroll from the main hotel building with the famous walks of Parknasilla entering from both north and south. There is ample space for sitting outside on a summer’s evening and there is a large green communal area shared between all the Villas. The villas boast three large double bedrooms and spacious living, dining and kitchen areas.
