Day 1-2
Madrid & Salamanca: Between its museums and nightlife, travellers soon learn why this city never sleeps. Polish up on some 'pure' Spanish in Salamanca.
Days 3-4
Coimbra: Cross the border into Portugal and indulge in sumptuous spicy cuisine.
Days 5-8
Lisbon & The Algarve: Starting from the medieval citadel, spend the day exploring this seaside city. Soak up the sun on the beautiful Algarve beaches.
Day 9
Jerez: Tour a bodega and sample some sherry.
Days 10 - 13
Chefchaouen & Fes: Travel from Europe to Africa and step into a world where Moroccan and Andalucian influences collide.
Days 14-16
Marrakech & Aroumd: Experience the energy of the medina or mingle with the performers at Djemaa el-Fna. Sip mint tea with locals and enjoy the sunset over the Koutoubia minaret. Travel to Imlil and head off to explore the High Atlas Mountains.
Day 17
Ait Benhaddou: Travel over Morocco's highest pass to the edges of the Sahara.
Days 18-22
Morroccan cities & Sahara: Embark on a journey towards the mighty Sahara, through the lush Draa Valley and on to Zagora - a small oasis town perfect for an overnight stop en route.
Days 23-24
Marrakech: Get lost in the mayhem of the medina or seek out the Majorelle Gardens and relax in this tropical oasis. Perhaps enjoy a final Moroccan feast to conclude this remarkable adventure.
