Lynn Morris

Lynn Morris is a freelance multimedia journalist. She has worked for the BBC, the Press Association, The Ecologist, Go! and Women’s Adventure among other websites and magazines. She is also a director of an environmental education charity called Atlantic Rising.

In the last couple of years she travelled 28,000miles by car around the edge of the Atlantic Ocean overland as part of an environmental education project. She managed her freelancing while being kidnapped by rebels in Cote d’Ivoire, ship wrecked in Guinea-Bissau and suffering from dengue fever in Venezuela. She crossed the ocean by containership twice and suffered the indignity of a ‘crossing the line ceremony’ once.

She mostly writes about travel, the environment and people doing adventurous things. But is prepared to turn her hand to virtually anything, except badminton.

Lynn is sometimes on twitter (@journolynn).
