Kayaking in UK
Lovely article, thanks.Just thought I would mention a couple of my favourites in England and Northern Ireland as well, with some superb kayaking to be done off Freshwater on the Isle of Wight, where you can paddle out to the Needles, into secret coves and take on some raunchy waves. See http://iow-seakayaking.co.uk/
And in Northern Ireland, the superb Strangford Lough Canoe Trail is just a few miles out of Belfast, with loads of places to hire kayaks, and you can even sleep on a deserted island in a converted bothy. You can do the same in the soon on the North Antrim Coast canoe trail, with a bothy opening on the shores later this year. See www.canoeni.com for more details.
