Set to take place in London this May, RAW, the artisan wine fair, is a two-day celebration of fine, organic and biodynamic wines from around the world.

On 20/21 May at the Old Truman Brewery in East London, around 150 growers will come together to present all wine enthusiasts with the unique opportunity to sample and purchase a variety of fine natural wines from around the globe including classic regions such as Bordeaux and Piedmont to exciting newcomers from Georgia and Serbia.

The event is organised by Isabelle Legeron (left) - the first French female Master of Wine (MW), presenter of Travel Channel wine shows, co-founder of last year’s Natural Wine Fair at Borough Market, and the first MW to focus on natural wine. Drawing on the success of last year’s event, Isabelle says that “My aim is to promote transparency in the wine world in order to support the art of authentic wine production. I want to help people think about what they drink’.

A charter of quality is being enforced for all exhibitors at RAW. The charter states that all grapes must be farmed organically or biodynamically, only indigenous yeasts can be used and the levels of sulphur must be clearly labeled on the bottle.

Serious collectors, wine newcomers, professionals and amateurs alike are all invited to attend. RAW will also feature a wide range of interesting talks from industry, including biodynamic ambassador Nicolas Joly of La Coulée de Serrant, and José Vouillamoz, Jancis Robinson MW's co-author of her forthcoming book ‘The Grape’.
