FYTbus - the Isle of Wight's local minibus service

Posted by Richard Hammond at 12:25 on Wednesday 24 June 2015

We've produced a video about FYTbus Baylink - an inspired local minibus service on the Isle of Wight.

Baylink is the new FYTbus service linking Yarmouth and Freshwater to the smaller resorts (hidden gems!) of West Wight. Travelling east, it goes to Freshwater Bay, Compton Bay and Chessell Pottery. To the west, to Fort Victoria, Colwell Bay, Totland Bay and Alum Bay – taking passengers right to the beaches.

FYTbus is a registered charity and not-for-profit company. Its purpose is "to improve access to local health, social, retail and leisure amenities for the residents of and visitors to West Wight. In so doing, we also support the businesses based here- shops, hotels, guest houses and our health and leisure centres".
