Eurostar trials connecting service to Provence
A convenient change of platform from Eurostar to TGV at Lille train stationEurostar is trialling a dedicated connecting service via Lille to Provence and the South of France.
The new service, in conjunction with SNCF, enables Eurostar passengers to travel in specially reserved coaches on connecting TGVs through to Lyon and Marseille for access to Provence and other areas in the South of France.
On arrival at Lille, passengers are given advice and directions for their onward travel. Tickets on the connecting services are on sale now for travel from 1 June and prices start from £109 return to Lyon and £119 return to Marseille. Through-tickets can be booked on Eurostar's website.
Eurostar says that over the coming months it will seek feedback from passengers, and if the service proves popular, will look to extend it to other destinations.
