From an even more subtle energetic aspect, Beyond Yoga Song will focus on development of the voice and sound. Whether you wish to find/enjoy the expression of your singing voice or relax in tuning into the subtle vibrations of ancient mantras and chants, you will be well guided by our teachers Mairead Ni Chonduin and Jack Harrison. Mairead is from Miltown Malbay and will bring out the very best through the range of your singing voice. She has been delighting us with the wonderful energy of her work for years at Boghill. Mairead has the knack of bringing a smile to our face, given her succinct yet soft instruction. Jack- a folklorist now living close to Kinvara will be giving an ancient perspective to the origins of sound and its use as a healing tool of Spiritual development and cultural connection. Through story and song Jack (www.jackharrison.com ) will make clear to us the age-old connection between the Celtic song and culture and that of ancient India and the east. Jack will bring you to a very calm space within.

The Boghill Centre is situated in a natural bogland setting in the North of County Clare at the foot of the stunning wild Burren landscape and not far from the Atlantic coast. Although only a couple of miles from Lisdoonvarna and Kilfenora it has a peaceful and secluded atmosphere making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.
Boghill is a sustainable complex with a strong environmental policy set in 50 acres of land on the edge of the Burren in Co Clare. The land includes organic veg and fruit gardens, a stone circle, a wildlife pond, a nature trail, a reed labyrinth, a chicken coop and pig pen, an orchard, and many recently planted native woodland areas. Our mantra is reduce, reuse, recycle and our ethos is based on providing an environmentally sustainable business having a minimal impact on the earth. All meals are vegetarian and as much food as possible is sourced from our organic vegetable garden, fruit beds and orchard. All these areas are fertilised with our own compost and horse manure and managed without the use of pesticides or other chemicals.
