To reduce the draw on natural resources, Woolpack Inn has implemented a wide range of green initiatives. All loft spaces are fully insulated to keep heat in. Windows are secondary glazed where possible. All appliances are A rated and the latest hot water boilers keep wastage to a minimum. Time switches and movement sensors for outside lighting have been installed to minimise unnecessary use of electricity. The owners recycle as much as possible, and bulk dispensers are used for toiletries. All food is composted. To reduce water consumption, flow restrictors have been installed in urinals, 1L kettles are available for guests and water supplies are metered and monitored. Teams have been trained on minimising water usage.
Food is sourced locally as much as possible, and prepared to order to minimise food waste. Woolpack Inn is easily accessible by public transport and also surrounded by several cycle and walking routes, including the Pilgrims Way to Canterbury. Cycle hire is readily available and the owners encourage guests to explore on bike and foot to minimise their impact on the natural surroundings.

As you come out of the station turn left as you walk cross over the A28 turning for Ashford then take the next left 10 yards turn right and walk up the lane the Woolpack will be straight in front of you. 1/2 mile walk from station.
