How does Wild Luxury minimise its impact on the environment and contribute to a sense of place?
The Safari style camping is completely off-grid, so there is no power or gas on site. The lodges warmed by renewable wood and lit by candle light. Separate recycle bins are provided throughout the site. There is a stored water system so water usage is carefully monitored. The outdoor and indoor showers have restricted flow. Almost all food comes from local suppliers, and guests are encouraged to cook from supplier led menu recipe options. To minimise their impact, the owners actively encourage guests to explore the stunning Norfolk coast, by foot, bike or coast-hopper bus service after arriving on-site which is in the middle of many footpaths.
