Why we've chosen The Wharf House:

Welcome to award-winning waterside restaurant and accommodation, The Wharf House, situated in Over on the edge of the historic city of Gloucester. Our awards include: AA Awarded Rosette Restaurant AA 4 Gold Star Accommodation Green Tourism Business Scheme (silver) Campaign To Protect Rural England (CPRE) Award With wonderful views of the River Severn or the newly restored Canal Basin from each bedroom, guests will feel relaxed and well looked after with all rooms including breakfast the following morning. The Wharf House is one of Gloucestershire's most popular restaurants, serving acclaimed modern British and European cuisine with a twist - open for breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner. Review by Anna Shepard Although the AA Rosette restaurant has been open for seven years, the rooms were finished less than three years ago, furnished mostly using materials from an old Victorian hospital that was demolished close by, including lots of beautiful solid oak. All seven bedrooms have a simple but luxurious feel to them, each with views over the River Severn or the restored Canal basin.
